Hi David,
I'm totally thrilled to be nominated for a Derringer for my first short story, Growing Up Is For Losers. Not a lot of people know that it is a prequel to my debut mystery Pushing Up Daisies which came out last month. I got very fond of one of my secondary characters and thought she deserved a story of her own!
I'm in some pretty heady company there so I don't expect to win, but as they say..."it's an honor just to be nominated.."
Cheers,
Rosemary
